Introduction I admit that I was a tad late to get my hands on Apple's fabled iPhone.. Because I was never keen on blowing hundreds on something that was masquerading as an essential item when in truth its a luxury.

I'm a bit of a ludite when it comes to phones and this is my first foray into apple territory; it doesn't live up to the hype. I expected wrongly that it would be intuitive to set up and use. Not really, it's just as frustrating as any other phone/device.
It's a smart phone with many aps
Doesn't have full Bluetooth capability
The Iphone was better than described. There were a few scratches but much less than I would have thought. My son was very pleased with it. When I charged it up I wasn't able to make it work first of all( down to my ignorance not the phone)so I sent a email.
Got this for my birthday about a year ago, and have since jailbroken it with 3.1.2. Pros: -Screen size -Best multitouch I have seen -Soon to get android on it -Sound quality -8gb.
This phone is really over hyped, went into O2 store to get it & realised how many features it is missing. The size of the handset is way too big in my opinion not pocket friendly. The big no no for me was the fact that even though I was willing to put up with missing features that phones from 10...
While parts of the iPhone 3G are superb, there are still some big features missing from this device. If you add up the extras the iPhone doesn't seem like a phone that everyone can afford.

How do you review a phone with this much hype swirling around it? If the iPhone was on trial for murder, no one who had followed the iPhone's progress would be allowed to join the jury for fear of their pre-conceptions influencing the verdict.
