When Apple announced that it planned to release a smaller version of its iPad Pro our curiosity was piqued. Despite having a smaller battery and a smaller screen the same A9X chip that the 12.7inch Pro boasted would a make a return.

iPad Pro is truly evolving into a platform. While the iPad mini and older iPad Air devices will continue to offer all the great content consumption features and still be the best tablets on the planet, the iPad Pro line can focus on more serious and mission critical applications.
It's a great buy. The extra speed in this model is quite noticeable, especially when dealing with the more involved or difficult apps (games). The camera, front and rear, takes high quality pics. The display is enhanced and adjusts to the light in your surrounds, so the screen is easy to see.

Updated processor; improved speaker design; incredible display; great cameras; variety of useful accessories
Optional keyboard can feel a bit cramped

Already own an iPad but it was time for an update. I knew I would be pleased. I love Apple products. So much faster than windows. Also like the fact that I got more storage.
Apple has always outdone the competition, and the iPad is a testament to this. Very light weight, extremely fast, high end graphics and photos. Videos saved to the tablet play uninhibited. ( video streaming is always at the mercy of available bandwidth).

Great form factor is easier to hold than larger Pro; Less expensive than larger Pro; Technology represents a step up from iPad Air 2 at same size; A very fast tablet; Great, bright display with True Tone; The best cameras ever seen on iPad; Very good battery life.
Expensive compared to current iPad Air 2 price, and extra features may not be worth it to a fair number of prospective users; Smaller screen makes for a slightly diminished drawing/typing experience compared to larger Pro; Audio not as good as larger Pro; Just a tad slower than larger Pro.

Easy to hold and use; excellent display; fast processor
There was a problem setting up the account so that free apps could be downloaded from the App Store; The form wouldn't submit and there was a message in red on the screen to say that we had to contact iTunes Support.
