Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch 1TB Wi-Fi + Cellular - Silver MXFA2X/A review

This is the best iPad Apple has ever made, and peripherals like the new Magic Keyboard make Apple’s tablet more appealing as a work machine. The fact remains, though, that unless you’re heavily involved in video editing or professional artwork, most people will be served just fine with the $499 iPad...

Fast A12Z processor; although it's not a huge improvement over the A12X; LiDAR sensor greatly improves augmented reality; but will you use it?; Satisfying ultra-wide lens; Magic Keyboard accessory is a great (though pricey) match

Expensive; AR not yet robust enough yet to get a lot out of the LiDAR sensor

Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch 1TB Wi-Fi + Cellular - Silver MXFA2X/A review

If you don't already own a tablet, then the iPad Pro 2020 is the one to get. And now that it can act as a proper laptop replacement (with some updates to iPadOS), that sky-high price (plus pricey accessories) is justified.

Stellar performance; Intuitive and useful trackpad support; Vivid and superbright display; Awesome cameras; Long battery life

Previous model is a better value; No headphone jack; Expensive (Accessories sold separately)

Apple iPad Pro 12.9 (2018, LTE, 256 GB) Tablet Review

great display; stylish design; good speakers; fast Wi-Fi; powerful SoC; impressive battery life; quick LTE connectivity; eSIM support for dual-SIM functionality

large camera bump; software restrictions; the main camera is largely unchanged; limited USB Type-C features; long load times; only 12 months warranty; no expandable storage

The new iPad Pro is, if nothing else, an impressive technical achievement. Remember: This is a surprisingly thin tablet, with precisely zero fans and enough horsepower to outperform some full-blown laptops. That's almost unheard of.

12.9in Apple iPad Pro (2018) review: Move over, Surface Pro

Everywhere you look on the 2018 iPad Pro's spec sheet, in fact, there's a minor or a major upgrade, adding up to a huge step forward for the iPad Pro as a whole. It's super fast and incredibly well made.

Amazing display; Blistering speeds; Gorgeous design; USB-C adds more versatility

USB-C support is limited; Not compatible with 1st-gen accessories; Expensive

12.9in Apple Pro iPad (2018) review: The fastest iPad ever

Everywhere you look on the 2018 iPad Pro's spec sheet, in fact, there's a minor or a major upgrade, adding up to a huge step forward for the iPad Pro as a whole. It's superfast and incredibly well made.

Incredibly fast; USB Type-C support; Edge-to-edge display

Hugely expensive; Not as flexible as a proper laptop

Absolutely phenomenal

The iPad Pro is absolutely incredible! anew design is brilliant, faceID fast to unlock and I also bought the Apple Pencil 2 with this so as a designer this is a brilliant bit of kit allowing me to draw / sketch / design but also allows me to do everything else on top such as Email, web browsing,...

Apple iPad Pro (12.9-Inch, 2018)

The standard $329 iPad, which is really $600 to $800 once you add the keyboard, Pencil, and storage options you want, is a great little computer at the right price. For drawing, word processing, web browsing, a bit of photo editing, some content consumption, and gaming, an iPad turned into a 2-in-1...

Amazingly fast hardware; Excellent networking capabilities; Good cameras; New Apple Pencil is terrific

Hardware is held back by its operating system

Apple iPad Pro 12.9 (2018) Review: When You Have Unparalleled Power, it Shows

The Apple iPad line-up has evolved considerably since the first iPad rolled out in 2010. Nothing has signified that better than the iPad Pro line-up, as this genre of devices changed positioning from convenient content consumption devices to powerful laptop replacement computing devices.
