iPad Air review

The iPad Air is incredibly thin and light, and it's the most comfortable 10-inch tablet we've used. It also comes with a nice boost in performance while maintaining good battery life.

A7 chip offers fast performance; Thinner and lighter than before; Global LTE support; Long battery life

Touch ID not included; Retina display is good; but no longer the best

iPad Air review

That line was prominently displayed to audiences at Apple's June developer conference and the iPad Air event, during a video about the company's values and commitment to design. "If everyone is busy making everything," the video asks, "how can anyone perfect anything?

Amazingly thin and light; Terrific battery life; Excellent performance; Class-leading app selection; Amazingly thin and light; Terrific battery life; Excellent performance; Class-leading app selection

iOS 7 still glitchy in places; Gets expensive fast; Safari icon remains an abomination; iOS 7 still glitchy in places; Gets expensive fast; Safari icon remains an abomination

Review Apple iPad Air Tablet

With the iPad Air , Apple once again delivers an outstanding tablet . The device both looks and functions as if it were born whole, operating system and software included. The Californian company once again manages to create a device that stands out from the crowd.

Bright; high-contrast display; Excellent color reproduction; Good touchscreen; High-performance SoC; First-class manufacturing; Very long battery life; Fast browser performance; Fit for VoIP audio/video calls; Very good speakers..; The iPad Air is thin and lightweight.

...which are unfortunately poorly positioned, High surface temperatures under load, No current data transfer standards, No Flash support, The iPad's connectivity options are still somewhat meager; Apple should work on this in the future

Apple iPad Air

Slimmer, lighter, and faster than last year's model , Apple's iPad Air ($499-$929) is the best tablet for the most people. It's a full-fledged computer that's now so thin and light that you won't even notice it's in your bag.

Impressively slim and light; Fast; Very good camera; Top-notch app selection; LTE version works with every U.S; carrier

Expensive; Pages and Numbers, while free, don't measure up to Microsoft Office for productivity

Apple iPad Air 16GB WiFi

This is truly the new iPad we've wanted for a long time, at least as far as the design and form factor is concerned. With the iPad Mini, it was clear that Apple's focus would be on improving the portability and use comfort.

Weight shed makes a lot of difference; Very sophisticated design; Good battery life; Retina Display still rocks

Pricey proposition; for the higher storage versions; No TouchID

Reliable but insane

It is impossible for a first time Apple user to review this tablet without also reviewing the Apple's operating system for tablets as a whole, so if you just want to know how this compares to other Apple tablets, maybe skip this review. Otherwise let me briefly tell you about Ipad Air.

Reliability; low weight; high performance; great graphics

An array of insane Apple operating design choices

The Power of Lightness

You have to hold iPad Air to believe it. It's just 7.5 millimeters thin and weighs just one pound. The stunning Retina display sits inside thinner bezels, so all you see is your content. And an incredible amount of power lies inside the sleek enclosure. So you can do so much more. With so much less.

Great os; Great ui speed; Very Thin & style; Nice body quality; A great music player; Loud speaker; Nice display; Beautiful

It doesn't have touch id; No flash for behind camera

iPad Air

The iPad Air is undoubtedly the best iPad that Apple has produced yet, and is by far the most comfortable full-sized tablet we've used.

Much thinner and lighter than before; great screen; slight improvement in performance; great battery life

Cameras are still disapointing; very few 64-bit optimised apps; Nothing

Apple iPad Air

As the fifth release in the iPad lineup, many reviewers are noting that this is the best tablet to date. Nate Lanxon to Wired UK thinks that it "feels like a milestone" and Jay Yarow of Business Insider said the iPad Air is "the best iPad Apple has ever made.

Fast performance; High-quality design; MIMO support; Beautiful display; Plenty of model options

Price; Lack of Touch ID; Mediocre camera
