Found the apps easy to install, alot of variety to choose from and the ability to use it anywhere is fabulous. Very happy with this gift and will strongly recommend it to anyone in the market for an IPad.

Great device, bought this iPad as an alternative for my previous purchased Microsoft Surface RT. The device is much lighter, much faster and has way more pratical apps. No more Windows RT for me, looking forward to iOS8!
I'm overly pleased on how fast the delivery was. I ordered it practically week of Christmas to get it for Christmas present and it came the day before . I was surprised and extremely happy that I got it before Christmas since it was a gift for my daughter.
For a company that obsesses over making devices thinner and lighter, it must have been torture for Apple to spend nearly three years making a series of iPads that were better than their predecessors, but not smaller. Now it has.
Ten hours of battery life; twice as fast as fourth-generation iPad; light and thin
Still too big for long-term one-handed use; no Touch ID
Apple's full-sized iPad may have a brand new name, but the company's fifth iteration is all about refinement. The iPad Air is thinner, lighter and smaller than the previous model, but still manages to retain the same 9.7in screen and ten hour battery life.
Stunningly thin and light; Excellent performance; Great battery life
Increased price; Speakers easily muffled; Reflective screen
Remember when the original iPad debuted in the hands of Steve Jobs, and he bold-facedly called it an incredibly thin and light device? Imagine what he'd say if he could see what his 9.7-inch roll-of-the-dice became just five short years later. Behold: the iPad Air. You've come a long way, baby.
Our hands-on impressions of Apple's next-generation iPad Air tablet computer
I bought the iPad Air because I was ready for an upgrade of my previous 64GB + 3G + wifi generation one iPad. I like that the iPad Air is so much lighter than the 1st gen iPad. It also has a faster processor chip which means game apps load faster.

Stunningly thin and light; Excellent performance; Great battery life
Increased price; Speakers easily muffled; Reflective screen
With lightning fast performance, smooth and crisp display and top quality dual cameras, the iPad Air is a definite buy for professionals and even gaming enthusiasts.
Display; performance; cameras; battery life
16 GB storage only; no 3G dongle support
