My new smart phone/computer

For personal reasons I am not able to switch to a smart phone. My old laptop (iBook circa 2005) is not very portable and is slow on the web. So I bought this iPad to use like a smart phone and for a portable computer. It does both EXTREMELY well.

iPad Air 2 review

The iPad Air 2 is lighter, thinner and faster than its predecessor, but the updates are not enough to make it worth ditching the old model if you already have one.

Nippy performance; anti-reflective screen; slim profile; good battery life; Touch ID sensor

Camera still struggles in poor lighting; not many signifcant changes over the original iPad Air

Apple started with the size of the iPad. The Air 2 retains its 9.7in, 2048x1536 resolution screen, although it rests in a body that is 6mm thin. Turns out Apple has shaved the Air 2 down by 19 per cent.

Great performance; Thin at 6mm; Improved cameras; Finger scanner

Expensive; Apple locks its ecosystem

Most are in agreement that Apple's iPad Air 2 is one of the finest tablets ever produced, if not the best out there, period. Certainly, it's not difficult to make that case -- after all, the latest 9.7-inch iPad is thinner than its predecessor at just 6.1mm thick, wicked fast with its custom A8X...

Slimmer than a shaved pencil; lighter than a pound; Sleek design and now comes in gold; Fast A8X SoC; 2GB of RAM; and new storage tiers; Upgraded cameras are finally worth talking about; Lots of little upgrades; such as the Touch ID sensor and barometer; Yet again; pricing remains the same; 1-year...

While battery life is as advertised; it's less than the previous iPad Air; Isn't built for productivity; C'mon Apple; start including Beats earphones

iPad Air 2 Review

The New iPad air 2 might still look similar to the previos one but there are many upgrades with the camera, the processor and additional features. The price is still a main concern for all, the ipad air 2 starts at 500$ and ranging up to 830$

Improved front camera; A8x Processor and latest version of iOS 8.1

no flash in the camera; very expensive

iPad Air 2 Review – Apple builds a new flagship

Apple is bullish on tablets and, for all it may be the slimmest and lightest of its breed, the iPad Air 2 is undeniably its new heavyweight champion. Dropping weight and bulk while simultaneously gaining power, the iPad Air 2 also dips into the best-selling iPhone 6 ‘s pockets for features like...

iPad Air 2

The iPad Air 2 marks the further development of Apple's revolutionary iPad design. This newest version of the iPad Air adds a more potent A8X processor, even better cameras, and Touch ID into an increasingly thinner and lighter body.

Great gamer don't strain your eyes , rather pricey but think maybe value is there! ??????????

Super Fast, superb video , full size keyboard, quick touch screen, easy clean screen, I impressed with proformance; WIFI very dependable, can text to Apple devices and email them; Load up FREE WIFI easy find a connection spot! Get s soft case

Well it so thin I find it hard to hang on too! Use a soft case for bounce proofing

iPad Air 2 review: Replaced by Apple's latest 9.7in iPad

You can no longer buy the Apple iPad Air 2 from Apple since it replaced the popular model with the simply-titled iPad. This new 2018 iPad is, in essence, little more than an iPad Air 2.5, improving on some areas of the Air 2 while exposing weaknesses in others.

Beautiful classic Apple design; Fabulous screen; Performance still stands up in 2017

The iPad Pro 9.7in is even better; Can't take advantage of split screen view
