There's a lot to like about Apple's new tablet offering. It's more affordable than ever, it works with the Apple Pencil and, with a more school- and teacher-focused software offering, it will have greater appeal to educators than before.
At less than 500 grams and just 7.5 millimetres thin, this 2018 iPad redefines portability. It's a mobile all-in-one computing solution.
This iPad is designed to go anywhere you go, but just because it is rugged doesn’t mean it’s not beautiful. The silver, space grey, or gold finishes are incredibly eye catching.
The A10 Fusion chip, 64-bit architecture, four-core design and over 3.3 billion transistors make the iPad incredibly fast. It’s a natural choice if you do a lot of 4K video editing, play graphics-intensive games, or use the latest augmented reality apps.
iPad has enough power for you to use multiple apps all at once. Working on a document, while searching the web, and making a FaceTime call is a piece of cake to this device.
You have to see augmented reality (AR) to believe it. This new technology brings virtual objects into the real world, and the iPad — from display to processing power, to the motion sensors — is designed to make AR apps more magical than before.
This 2018 iPad brings you even more ways to put your thoughts onto a page, such as making notes, painting, or signing documents. For example, the Apple Pencil delivers pixel-perfect precision and responsiveness. It’s as easy to use a pencil, but much more functional.
The front and back cameras let you do more than take awesome shots and shoot great video. You can also scan documents, make FaceTime calls, or even create a floor plan using augmented reality.

I bought an upgrade from my iPad mini wanting to use the feature of taking notes, using the I pencil, at meetings and conferences. This is excellent! It's fast responsive as you would expect. I'm loving the graphics and features also that it's upgrade from 16gb( which wad my budget) to 32gb.
Apple's sixth generation iPad is a notable update over the model it replaces and makes even more sense as the most affordable iPad now geared more towards education and creative users.
Apple 9.7-inch iPad (2018) is aimed at students. The new iPad comes with Apple Pencil support. Prices for the iPad (2018) start from Rs 28,000. The jury is still out on whether we really need a tablet in our day-to-day lives. But that isn't stopping Apple from coming out with new iPads.
This is a great ipad but just be careful with the attached keyboard and case. It scratches the screen of the tablet as it moves around somewhat. My screen is now scratched quite a lot. The keyboard is not that easy to use as the buttons on it are quite small and not the easiest to use or see.
This iPad retains the same design as the 2017 release but adds an important new feature: Pencil support. While Apple is happy for anyone to buy the new tablet, it's clear there is a strong focus on education and what a bevy of these coming to the classroom can mean.
Affordable price; Pencil support (and third-party stylus support; Works in the same way as Pro models; A10 processor
No Face ID; No ProMotion or True Tone; No Smart Connectors
Apple has only itself to blame for this: the sixth generation of the iPad is a cheap iPad, or at least cheap by Apple's standards. You get the sense that it was cheaply produced around almost every corner, and yet Apple has still produced an enormously good tablet with its 2018 edition.
Strong performance; High-quality apps
Display isn't exceptional; Slow fingerprint reader
It's my first regular-sized iPad. I had two minis before this and I was a little worried that I will not like having to hold a bigger tablet. So far, I am pleased. It was the affordable price paired with the 128 G storage and compatibility with the Apple Pencil that convinced me to get this.
Touch screen very responsive like no other. Fast and efficient machine. Battery life is not great, my only complaint.
