Read what you like into Apple’s branding, but with this latest iPad being short of any modifier (Air! Mini! Pro! Just Buy It Already!), it feels like Apple’s saying this is the iPad for almost everyone. If you want something smaller, buy a mini, and if you need a Pencil, grab a Pro, otherwise just get this iPad. Is it the best iPad? No. That accolade still rightly belongs to the Pro. And occasionally (again: that reflective screen), Apple should perhaps have reconsidered some of its cost-cutting decisions. On the whole, though, it’s hard to grumble at the new iPad’s marriage of form factor, power, app ecosystem, and price. Replaced my iPad gen 4 model with this new model, mostly because I wanted more storage space for my apps, games, photos, videos, etc. 128gb is the way to go...plenty of space and room to do it all! ... nad the A9 chip in this puppy races with fast responses to any demands..

My ancient ipad wouldn't work with the reader that I needed to use for online books for school. The new one works great. Apps that I use for online newspapers also work much better. Overall, it was a vast improvement.
