I simply love this tab, very fast and smooth. Game play was awesome, and the screen took it to another level. Zero lag, apps loaded fast, movies looked great, colours were accurate.

A bit heavy; A bit Slippery

We were all taken aback when Apple released this fourth-generation iPad, not least because it came out at the same time as the iPad Mini , and only six months after the third-gen device had been released. Enter some angry Apple fans who had just paid out for a device that was already out of date.

We do feel there should be a touch more "awesome" at this price, but once you've gazed adoringly into the Retina Display, you'll struggle to not hate any tablet that isn't this good.

The iPad 4 is the quickest iPad yet and a solid choice for a tablet in which we can barely find fault. However, if you're not in a hurry to buy, it's worth waiting for the rumoured iPad 5, which could launch within months.

After kicking the tires on the fourth iteration of the iPad, it's easy to see that, although it's an incremental update, the newest iPad is the best one of the bunch. Not only does the new processor make the experience much more rewarding, but the Lightning dock connector saves a bunch of hassle...

Very good, no doubt it's the best product. I will say all other ipad are nothing in front of apple ipad. very good service and product.

The sneaky iPad 4 takes our tablet top spot almost by default. There are no cosmetic changes to swoon over but this is a seriously slick, turbo-charged version of our favourite slate, and all for the same price as the outgoing iPad 3.

This fourth-generation iPad has so much in common with the third generation released in March 2012 that we decided to forego many of the features here because we already discussed them in detail last March.
