launches: hilarious, aren't they? The whole world (it can seem) works itself into a tizzy about when they're going to be and what's going to be unveiled.Jumping from the iPad 2's 1024x768 screen to one with a stupendously large 2048x1536 resolution makes a huge difference to just about everything...
Truly stunning screen; exceptionally user-friendly; excellent audio; unbeatable selection of apps; movies and music; flawless build quality

Not 4G-capable in Australia; Thicker & heavier than predecessor; Gets warm during regular use

The iPad is a step forward due to usability tweaks on apps such as AirPlay, voice

The new iPad is slightly
The iPad is without doubt the best tablet you can buy. Yes, it's a little fatter and heavier than the last generation, but not so much as you'd notice, and the payoff – that incredible Retina Display – is well worth the extra heft.
