Fantastic Machine

No it won't replace word processing, or data etc. But for surfing, playing, watching and email and all the other fantastic things, this is the best it gets. We got it for watching films on a plane for our daughters, just a couple of accessories needed like a headphone splitter and away you go.

It does work fine, so I am keeping it

I appreciate the product was second hand but didn't expect a scratch on the top right of the screen. When switched on, the scratch cannot be seen. This is a present for my mum, as at the age of 74yrs old, I need to get her up to date with technology. It does work fine, so I am keeping it.

Apple iPad 2 3G + Wi-Fi

A version of the iPad 2 that includes GSM radio and GPS receiver, allowing users to access Internet even when they're not in the hotspot. Moreover, there's the support for location-based services, while the rest of the features remain the same and include such things as two cameras, dual-core 1GHz...

Verizon 4G LTE network is incredibly fast; 32GB microSD card included; Integrated kickstand works in portrait and landscape

Battery life is among the worst weve ever seen; No 4G LTE power toggle option; Kickstand in landscape orientation blocks microUSB port

Apple iPad 2 (Wi-Fi + 3G)

As cocky as it may seem, when Steve Jobs boasts that most of the new 2011 tablets are no match for the original Apple iPad, he has a point. Currently, only the Motorola Xoom (Verizon Wireless) ($599-$799, 3.5 stars) shows enough promise to compete with Apple's tablet.

Thinner than the original; New A5 chip offers faster graphics processing, general performance; Dual cameras for video chat, HD video recording, and stills; Improved design incorporates internal magnets for Smart Cover accessory; 3G versions available on AT&T and Verizon Wireless.

Image quality with rear-facing camera is not great; Front-facing camera is not HD; Still no Flash video support; No earbuds included

Apple iPad 2 Review

In some ways, this new edition of the iPad is a subtle refinement, in other ways a drastic expansion of its functionality and its very intent, allowing us to create and communicate with technology which simply was not available in the initial effort.

Sleeker than ever; Enhanced feature set including two (!) new cameras; Blazing-fast processor

Still no Flash video support; Charging still slow; still can't be performed via connection to computer

Apple iPad 2

The Good Much faster in some areas. Thinner and lighter. Huge, intuitive app library. Smart Covers are slick. iMovie and GarageBand are killer apps. Dual cameras add functionality. Still excellent battery life. Tough-to-beat price. The Bad Not night-and-day better for some iPad owners.

Much faster in some areas; Thinner and lighter; Huge; intuitive app library; Smart Covers are slick; iMovie and GarageBand are killer apps; Dual cameras add functionality; Still excellent battery life; Tough-to-beat price

Not night-and-day better for some iPad owners; Cameras are sub-par by Apple standards; Android sometimes more powerful and open; Smart Cover doesn't guard the back; Still the same 1024x768 display

Apple iPad 2 review: Love and hate 2.0

Our first Apple iPad review was posted in our blog. Sure, our blog was only just starting at the time and needed a boost. But that's only one side to the story. Tablets back then just couldn't match phones and weren't ready for primetime. Look at them now.

9.7" capacitive IPS touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels; oleophobic coating, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n connectivity, Optional 3G connectivity (data only, Optional GPS with A-GPS support, Apple A5 SoC - 1 GHz dual-core ARM Cortex A9 processor, PowerVR SGX543MP2 graphics, 512MB RAM,

iTunes required for uploading content; No Flash support in the web browser; Poor still cameras – though; really; this thing isn't meant for taking candids; No standard USB port; No kickstand – it cannot stand on a table without the help of a dock stand or a Smart cover; Non replaceable battery; No

Love my new iPad from ABT

We purchased the iPad because my sons high school uses them in place of text books and now I find myself using it for everything.

App Availablity; Battery Life; Easy To Customize; Web Browsing; WiFi

Don't buy a tablet from NE

The Good: We got a 32gb iPad2 with cell radio for under 200 bucks (minus shipping). The Bad: The whole transaction has taken a month after returning the first one and really on the fence about returning this one too. The Ugly: I probably could have done better buying a "used" one.

It works and it's an Apple product - 2 stars

This is the second one, I had to return the first one because the "refurbished" condition was unacceptable; This one isn't much better, It has a half-circle scratch across the face of it and a ding in the case near the power port.

Great Product.

It is a great product.I deffinetly recommend it over any Android Tablet. It's pretty fast & has a good resolution, although The New iPad's Retina display is better. The Edges may get damaged if you don't buy a case, but overall,it's a great product. The camera has a lack of focusing, now that it only has...

Everything

Edges may damage if you don't have a case
