Zoo Tycoon

In Zoo Tycoon , nothing is more important than your animals. Whether you're simply watching an elegant giraffe leaning over a pool to drink water or marveling at the adorable baby elephants romping around, every species in this menagerie is delightful.

Great animal detail; Fun animal facts

Useless Kinect controls; Unintuitive menus; Boring research

An outstanding zoo simulation game!

This excellent sequel to Zoo Tycoon boasts new 3-D graphics and friendlier tools to help build the perfect habitats for animals. Not only do kids get to design and build their own dream zoos, but now they can walk around in them in a first person perspective.

Zoo Tycoon 2

I know there are lots of Tycoon games out there but this series has to be one of my favorites. I owned the first one and stopped playing it after a patch made it very unstable. When I saw commercials for this one, and seeing that it was 3D, I was determined to get it.

Zoo Tycoon 2

If the DS can do one thing better than any console, it's strategy games. Real-time or turn-based, strategy games work on the DS thanks to that handy touch screen that makes controlling troops, selecting units, or placing buildings a snap.

Zoo Tycoon 2 DS

It's easy to see where the "Tycoon" part of Zoo Tycoon 2 comes in-- babies. More and more babies...to sell on the black market, I like to pretend. Sure the nature show bit is skipped, but magically, pint-sized critters sprout up in exhibits, cute little hearts over their heads.

PC Review - 'Zoo Tycoon 2: Marine Mania'

Zoo Tycoon 2: Marine Mania adds new scenarios and challenges allowing players of all ages and skill levels to test their aquatic expertise, such as rescuing marine animals, restoring their health and releasing them back into the wild.

Zoo Tycoon 2 managed to keep a number of people up late into the night in its original form, and now there's an expansion to help add hours to the fun. Microsoft's new expansion gives you things like sky trams, official Jeep tours, and a gun-less FPS element, but is there really anything new here?

ups: cool animals; finally elevated walkways

downs: very thin expansion; still no way to speed up the game

Zoo Tycoon 2 Review

Zoo Tycoon 2 makes some real improvements, but it's still probably best suited for parents looking to play games with their young children.

Great for parents to play with their young children; Zoopedia powered by MS Encarta provides educational value; Open-ended sandbox mode

Unimpressive graphics; Sparse sound; Poor performance on mid-range and lower-end computers

It's amazing. The music, graphics, replay value. All amazing. It's fun and your the creativity this game is awsome if you have a good imagination. Not as good as the 1st though.
