Great game - early levels not very challenging

We purchased this game as the kids love Yoshi, but the parents ended up playing most of the time. It's an adventure platformer mixed with a puzzle platformer, you can finish the levels and continue but the real challenge is to complete them at 100%, which means getting 5 balls of yarns to reassemble...

Good!

I played this game with my friend who owns it (I don't own the game) and I liked playing co-op with him. This game seems decent in single player (never played it but watched him play it) but in some situations in the game, being with a buddy can help...

Fun game and lovely looking Yoshi Amiibo who helps you during solo play

This is such a fun game and will keep the family entertained for hours. Its great to have the Amiibo because when you are playing in single player mode you can get an extra Yoshi as a side kick. I you are playing with a friend then you cannot use the Amiibo to get another extra yoshi...

Yoshi's Woolly World Wii U Review

With adorable visuals and top notch level design, Yoshi's Woolly World is not only one of the best Yoshi games ever made, it also easily stands as one of the best games on Wii U .

Some of the best level design in a video game in long; long time; Probably the most charming visual style you have ever seen; Hummable soundtrack fits perfectly with the visual element; Pacing is perfect; Play at your leisure gameplay is not based on time or score

Finding some collectables might drive you insane because they are so well hidden; It is a long game but you will wish there was more because it is so good

Yoshi's Woolly World Review

Good Nintendo games come in one of two flavors. Some games are revolutionary, such as creating 3D platforming with Super Mario 64. Others are iterative and refine a previous concept further, like Super Mario Galaxy 2. In this way, Yoshi's Woolly World is the former.

The best word to describe Yoshi's Woolly World, that isn't "cute," would be approachable; The levels themselves are easy to complete, especially with Badges; If you want to challenge yourself, though, obtaining all the collectibles in a stage, without Badges, can provide all the challenge you want

The game feels like it moves much slower than the original Yoshi's Island; While some sections have yarn Yoshi tearing through an area as a motorcycle or an umbrella riding hurricane force winds, the watercolor Yoshi of old would run circles around him

Yoshi's Woolly World (Wii U) Review

It has been nearly 20 years since Yoshi last graced a home console with his own game, but he has finally returned, and with a lot of style. The striking yarn that makes up the game world and its inhabitants in Yoshi's Woolly World creates a beautifully endearing experience that is sure to capture...

Super Late Review: Yoshi's Woolly World (Nintendo Wii U)

I believe that Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island is a legitimate masterpiece. It blends exciting platforming with clever puzzles in a way that few games have been able to duplicate.

Overall, Yoshi's Woolly World is beautiful, but simplistic. It doesn't push any platforming boundaries, but offers a good challenge to those that want to find it all. Don't come into Woolly World looking for a challenge and longevity, but instead looking for a laid back title that will leave you...
