The Redmi Note 10 5G is a classy-looking budget phone that provides 5G connectivity and excellent battery life at an incredibly low price. You’ll have to make some sacrifices when it comes to display and camera quality in order to reap those 5G benefits, however, and it’s not the fastest performer for the money.

This offering from Xiaomi is another recent offering that is perhaps sold on its photographic and video abilities but instead of it costing a lot it’s more of a mid-range to budget offering. This is a name that may not be known that much in the UK.

Like many affordable 5G phones, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G is sadly a let-down compared with its LTE rivals, including Xiaomi’s own Redmi Note 10 Pro and the Motorola Moto G50. Considering the main advantages of 5G include gaming or media streaming in busy areas with zero chance of Wi-Fi, this handset’s display tech is sadly limited. We were also let down by that camera, which struggled far too often to capture respectable photos and video. If you absolutely must have 5G at a low price, also check out the Motorola Moto G50, Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite, Realme 8 5G or Oppo’s A74 5G.

The Redmi Note 10 5G is an incredibly inexpensive smartphone and when you remember that it offers 5G, something which not many other smartphones currently do in this price range, it might grab your attention a little bit more.

The Redmi Note 10 5G is one of the cheapest 5G phones you can buy, and you can see where Xiaomi cut back to hit its price. With only one usable camera, it should be on the back foot, but practically speaking, it takes decent photos for the price.
