Xenoblade Chronicles 2 review (SWITCH)

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is one of the best and most ambitious JRPGs I've ever had the pleasure to play. Unfortunately, it sometimes is too deep and complex for its own good (that's not a phrase I ever thought I would write about a game I enjoy so much), which results in an absolute treat for genre...

Xenoblade Chronicles 2

The highly anticipated sequel to one of the Wii's biggest sleeper hits-and our number one game of 2012 -is one of the year's most overindulgent RPGs. Accompanied by a long series of irritating tutorials, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 throws all that it can at you, from complex battle tactics to about a...

At the moment, the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Expansion Pass doesn't have enough major content to be called a meaningful one. You're not missing out on anything substantial from not getting the expansion.

Brilliant game,good collectors edition!

Beautiful World, amazing RPG! Collectors edition is fair price, one thing what I would prefer more in this edition is the hard cover artbook....(but sadly this one is soft cover artbook) Other thing what missing for me the Japanese voice...

Xenoblade Chronicles 2

I am very thankful Family Friendly Gaming purchased a copy of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 on the Nintendo Switch. This home console action adventure hack and slash role playing video game is a strong thirteen and older only video game.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (for Nintendo Switch)

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for the Nintendo Switch is a massive JRPG you can play at home or on the go, but if you aren't already familiar with the Xenoblade series, its design and scope can be bewildering.

Huge game world, with lots to do; Sprawling, eye-catching landscapes; Deep combat system

Mechanics feel overly complicated at times; Character design is very generically anime; Annoying texture and object pop-in bugs

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 review – Nintendo goes full anime

In some ways a backwards step from its immediate predecessor, but this is still a fascinatingly complex Japanese role-player with the best open world since Breath Of The Wild.

A huge game world, filled with secrets; Deep combat systems and customisation gives plenty for role-players to get their teeth into; Some great creature designs

The storytelling and dialogue is weak, and full of anime cliché; Hands-off combat often lacks impact, especially in minor fights; Overly complex interface and unhelpful tutorials

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (Nintendo Switch) Review

Nintendo's Switch has had a slew of fantastic releases this year, with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey leading the pack, both receiving the highest accolade from Cubed3 and other media worldwide.

So close, yet so far.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is every bit as fantastical as you'd hope, an RPG set in a massive world where man and animal live on the backs of tremendous beasts in a sea of clouds. The world of Alrest, simultaneously Earthly and alien, with a mysterious history that even its major players fail to truly...

Large and beautiful environments draw you into Xenoblade 2's natural world; A deep combat system with a high ceiling for expert play; Multi-layered character customization and progression affords you a lot of room for experimentation; The second half of the story is packed with intriguing...

The first half of the story is filled with cliches and bland plot points; Many characters backed by poor voice acting; Poppi's potential as a fully-customizable Blade is squandered by the need to play Tiger Tiger; Common Blades are boring to look at; and difficult to differentiate within menus; No...

It's Rex time

Impressive effort with a few noticeable problems holding it back. Won't astound everyone, but is worth your time and cash.
