Wii Fit U game review

When the Nintendo Wii was released eight years ago, everything about it seemed new. It was something you'd look at with awe. But when the Wii U hit stores, it seemed both too familiar and too complex. The bad news is that Wii Fit U can also seem too familiar.
Pros:
  • Nice for casual fitness fans
  • orienteering is fun
  • meter lets you go mobile
Cons:
  • Not for hardcore fitness fans
  • can be confusing
  • needs audible training

Fun collection of games designed to keep you fit.

Parents need to know that Wii Fit U is a collection of mini-games that encourages players to be active in front of the TV to perform various tasks in the game. There is support for an optional, wearable pedometer, too.

Wii Fit U (Wii U) Review

Upon initial boot up, it may feel like the same game that was released on the Wii just a few years ago, only with a lick of HD paint, but this is merely scratching the surface of the most refined and fun entry to the series.

Im wholly disappointed in this

Im wholly disappointed in this. They didn't bother to update the activities to use the Wii Motion Plus, and the result is that games like snowball fight where accurate tracking is required are unusable. When trying to aim quickly, the target jerks around the screen.

Nice product, price and packaging just doesn't work

Although I would recommend this to anyone wanting the Nintendo U, we happen to have the original wii and it didn't work, I hear there are ways to configure it, but we haven't had the time.
