Need more subtlety and texture
I bought these a few weeks ago and can in honesty say I am blown away with the sound quality... the depth and clarity is stunning for such a small price. I have them paired with a Yamaha Amp and subwoofer and for an online buy (always a gamble!!) they have paired brilliantly..
Absolutely brilliant speakers. I have the white set as the mains in a 5.1 set up. They produce a very authoritative sound with plenty of clarity in the mid range, a tight low end and crystal clear highs.
This is my very first time to own a Wharfedale speakers, much less a Diamond 230 model. First of all, they are a handsome looking pair of speakers (my pair is in white). Just like what most reviews have said, Wharfedale speakers produce balance, realistic and warm rich sound.
Handsome looking speakers. Built in high quality material and very well built. The sound is warm, natural and very balanced. You can hear the breathing of the singer; any nuance in the singer's voice, and the sound of instruments all come alive.
