Failed before it had even 1TB written to it. USB enclosure may have been under rated or buggy/worn out, but Seagate Ironwolf Pro I got to replace it for an extra 20 bucks survived the same bad enclosure and has been rock solid in a new enclosure and I have high hope for that to last 2-4 years like usual for spinning rust.

I bought two to replace my 20 year old disk. It was with some bad sectors so I will go with this new ones for other 20 years.

Bought 2 of these harddrives to start Off my own Home server. As a filmmaker, I needed some security, regarding the backing Up of my Files. I implemented them into an Unraid Environment, which works very well. Delivery took about a week, Installing-process took me about 30 Minutes. I know this probably isnt the cheapest Option (barracuda seems cheaper), but after Reading a bunch of Reviews and having Spoken to people With some experience With Servers, the REDs seem like a very solid option.
