Running 45 of these in a Storinator
We have 45 of these drives that produces 135 TB of raw storage space. These have been reliable, fast and quiet in this unit. The first install of 30 of the drives was over 3 years ago. Only had to replace one drive in all that time!

Great value for money for 3TB drive
I needed a few high capacity drives for my home file server. Although they are a bit slow in transfer speeds compared to high-spec desktop drives but WD RED series drives claimed to be build with 24/7 operation in mind and TLER feature enabled which is great for home/SOHO file servers.
Pros:
- Easy To Install
- Quiet
Cons:
- 3yr Warranty
- Slow
