I've had this hard drive over a year & four months now. So it's still in good working condition. Recently had it converted into an external hard drive for another device. So I plan on getting another one for my upgraded PC to backup my current hard drives.

value; Quiet; Easy to Use; Performance

These are great drives for extra storage for media or what have you. They are good value over the higher performing drives if you just need storage without the extra speed.

WD s Acronis software will only INSALL when a WD drive is detected. Thats silly- should only RUN when WD drive installed-, you want to install it ready for when you put in the new drive, typically while the old one is still in place.

I ordered a 3TB hard drive for my linux machine. Had no issues with the product in both installation and performance.

As usual Dell did not let me down. My XPS needed more space. Logged on picked out what I needed, ordered and all was good with the world.

I have been using this HDD for approx two months now and I must say it has performed perfectly. Being a Green model the HDD is very quiet. Haing 3tb of storage is awesome. Transfer speeds are also excellent achieving approx 100 -130 MBytes per second HDD to HDD.

This is a great drive. HD Tach gets 348.8mb/s burst and avg read is 121.5mb/s.

I have a confession to make, I'm a pack rat. There, I've said it. I can't seem to get rid of my old stuff. I keep finding new ways to re-purpose it. The same goes for the stuff on my hard drive. I just keep using up more space.
