Glitching like it's 2007

Mashing a myriad of ideas together isn't always best practice. It can sometimes create magic, and sometimes it can cause a mess. A narrative-driven, survival-based, RPG element-having, melee combat-heavy, exploratory mammoth, We Happy Few ends up on the untidy end of things on most counts.

We Happy Few is unapologetically inspired by many different works of entertainment across various mediums. The world and characters of Wellington Wells appear to be pulled directly out of an Ayn Rand novel or a George Orwell dystopia.

What's all this, then I can hardly call England a "dystopia," but it sure feels different to the country I've spent my whole life in. Don't get me wrong, most politicians have been charlatans and people have always been ignorant.

Like a repressed British gentleman being propositioned by a lady, We Happy Few is all in a muddle. This smartly dressed, highly eloquent, and often charming stealth game is absolutely brimming with potential.

Few games make as big a splash at E3 as We Happy Few. It seems like every year the game shows up it wows the audience with its unique world and

has some great gameplay features coupled with several aspects to be improved upon. It showcases a great potential for expanding upon and working on perfecting the vision of the franchise in the future.

If you're looking for a game that's different, a lot of fun, packed with adventure, and has a great story, this is the game for you! The combat is unique and the use of stealth is simple.
