WWE: 2K15

The leap to new-gen is more of a stumble for WWE, as it drops elements of existing content and recycles a lot more, giving little feeling of quality.

The stamina meter's return adds an interesting resource management element to bouts; Sting in a WWE ring! If you're prepared to take a baseball bat to your piggy bank; Although it's clumsy; if the WWE Universe mode gets its claws into you it can be difficult to escape

Roster, Create-A-Wrestler, match types; you name it, it has suffered cuts, Only a few wrestlers get visual upgrades and even then, last-gen animations make the action look stilted, Does nothing meaningful to advance a series that was beginning to tire when the Xbox 360 was released

WWE 2K15 PlayStation 4 and Xbox One Review

on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One doesn't quite meet the expectations set by previous entries in the series. While the wrestlers look amazing and the combat feels significantly better, MyCareer mode is an absolute slog and everything else has been done better in previous years.

Improved combat; Mostly accurate visuals; Sometimes-fun Showcases

MyCareer Filler; Missing wrestlers; modes

WWE 2K15 Review – Get in the Ring with the Best WWE Game in Years

WWE 2K15 has arrived for fans to enjoy, and after last year's less than thrilling edition I was hoping for a huge graphical overhaul. The "new-generation" of consoles has what it takes to give fans the total WWE gaming experience and this is the perfect opportunity to catch up on the latest...

The move to more powerful consoles has resulted in a prettier looking wrestling game, but also a far less enjoyable one.

I've tried my best to be as unbiased as I can for WWE 2K15. For those who don't know the full story, let me tell you a bit of the background. Last year WWE 2K14 was being developed by THQ and Yukes, this was until 2K sports took over the mantle due to THQ going out of business.

- Excellent Graphics; - Interesting new gameplay features; - Excellent creation suite

- Removal of key game modes; - Roster out of date at time of launch

WWE 2K15 next gen review – out with the?old

A relatively promising next gen debut, but it's still missing lots of older features. And even with a few new ones it's hard to think of this as anything but a work in progress.

The slower combat and stamina meter makes for a more realistic and tactical game; MyCareer is flawed but shows great promise; Decent, if inconsistent, graphics

There's still an awful lot of missing features, that used to be in the game at its last gen peak, with customisation and the roster of wrestlers particularly affected; Roster is still too small

WWE 2K15 Review

Yuke's and Visual Concepts ended up with a "one step forward, two steps back" approach while developing WWE 2K15. The two things they managed to get right are the lifelike graphics and sim-based style of gameplay.

WWE 2K15 Review

When the WWE license was snapped up by 2K Games in the aftermath of the THQ bankruptcy, wrestling fans had high hopes for a series that had become a bit stale after many years of annual updates. WWE 2

More authentic experience; Showcase mode is fun

MyCareer is bloated and repetitive; Can be slow and unresponsive; Face-scanning is hit and miss

Another year and a new WWE game has hit the market, only this time 2K has taken over control of the franchise. WWE 2K15 is the first WWE game to hit next-gen consoles and is the first game that was completely made by 2K. I along with many other WWE fans were excited when 2K took over the franchise.
