Gears of War meets bullet hell in this manic game.
Fast paced, frantic combat; the boost mechanic is awesome; some ridiculously awesome cutscenes; great graphical presentation
Some unfair deaths; lack of enemy variety; the game is a bit short
is by no means a perfect game. It won't win Game of the Year, and it probably won't make a lasting impression in the roster of video games that have been released. It is, however, a very reasonably fun game that is worth playing until the end.

Fantastic gameplay; astounding graphics; exciting and fast-paced music; fair difficulty
Poor voice acting; a forgettable story; only about six hours long
Pure entertainment: that's Vanquish in a nutshell. This speedy and thrilling third-person cover-based shooter is all madness, overwhelming you with gigantic robots, flurries of gunfire, and explosions so powerful and colorful that you might think you feel the heat.
Sliding around and shifting into slow motion is a blast; A constant barrage of explosions; bullets; and robots; Fantastic boss fights heat up the action; Smooth controls ensure an always-fair challenge; Frequent set-piece environments add flair and variety
Corny dialogue and voice acting; Ends too soon
