Until Dawn is a video game that should jump to the "to-play" pile for those gamers who love classic horror and want to see the high-quality that the PlayStation 4 can deliver when it comes to faces and character interactions.

Horror is a canvas for indulging fear. Whether it's woven by actual gore or whispers of things unseen, horror allows us to engage with a view of the world that is both too real and yet impossible to accept.

In life, it's the decisions that we make on a daily basis that define who we are. Every choice that we're presented with has, often unseen, repercussions and the seemingly smallest choice could impact yours or someone else's life in a major way.

Teen slasher flicks really aren't my thing. The hackneyed storyline, laughable acting, and generally ham-fisted approach to instilling fear just doesn't do it for me. I might find them to be a silly diversion at best, and only if nothing

Even though Until Dawn dropped us into the ski boots of perpetually horny, relentlessly hunted teens, I identified much more with their pursuer(s). I violently fluctuated between doing my utmost to get these douchebags butchered like hogs, but then I'd also move Heaven and Earth to keep them alive...

I've been fighting quite a gaming malaise. The last time I suffered from this, some time ago, the game that shook me out of it was Heavy Rain. This is perhaps no coincidental, as this game, Until Dawn, is brought to us by the same folks, or so I'm told by the kids at Gamespot.

This was even better than I expected! The game is fantastic (or should I say, interactive movie) Brilliant graphics, intuitive gameplay and thought provoking choices. The story slowly unravels the more you play. It makes you want to keep playing to see what happens next.
