easy to use
Manufacturer: Uniden
I bought this product about a month ago to replace an existing phone system that had reached the end of its useful life. it is the same brand as the previous phone we had and was easy to install and use
Not a big advance on the Telstra/Uniden answer phone we bought 4 years ago! It does however seem to handle the NBN fibre to the premesis better than the old one. Just as well as it was for this reason we upgraded. The manual said that it would not take messages from mobiles! Really! A call to Uniden's 1300 help line fixed this - a very competent person there said the manual was "wrong" and guided me through a fix. The navigation buttons on the handsets are too small for my big fingers. The "Phonebook" is cumbersome and doesn't take advantage of the LED display.
There is one huge problem with this phone - the "end call" button is in the wrong place. Well, you might actually argue the Bluetooth button is in the wrong place, it's where the "end call" button is on every phone I've ever used so it's common, then, to press this instead of ending a call.
