Lost and found.

Team chemistry abounds in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, which is not surprising for a side story to a series famous for its AI-partner-driven gameplay. A decade's worth of adventures and a conclusive epilogue might place franchise mainstay Nathan Drake on permanent retirement, so now is as fitting a...

Gameplay callbacks to the series are both strong and subtle; Engrossing combat encourages improvisation and ingenuity; Well-written banter between Chloe and Nadine creates a believable relationship; Puzzles are rewarding challenges

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

It might be shorter – as reflected in the price – but The Lost Legacy is a great Uncharted and a dazzling example of a studio at the top of its game. To be honest, I wouldn't have believed that Chloe and Nadine could make such fantastic, sympathetic protagonists or that Naughty Dog could stretch the...

The same great Uncharted gameplay; Chloe and Nadine make great protagonists; Astonishing visuals; Huge set-pieces and ingenious world design; Leaves you wanting more

More of the same (if mostly in a good way

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

Throughout the build up to release, Naughty Dog has been keen to stress that The Lost Legacy is not DLC for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End , and quite rightly too, because this brand new action-adventure very much stands on its own two feet.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

Uncharted didn't need The Lost Legacy , but at the same time, this post- Uncharted 4 epilogue of sorts, cum new adventure, is a mostly welcome addition to the Sony series' overarching story - one that's so far been stretched across four main games, and more.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Is a Slow Burn with Promise

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy plants the seeds for great characters to push the franchise forward, but it takes its time getting there and hasn't changed much from Uncharted 4.

Diverse cast; Beautiful graphics; Interesting new locale

First two-thirds are slow; Nadine Ross doesn't get enough limelight

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Review

Taking the better aspects of classic and modern Uncharted, The Lost Legacy is a short, explosive chunk of adventure. Chloe and Nadine are elevated far beyond the supporting roles they once played, and both end up as interesting, formidable, and highly likeable characters, among the best in the...

It's barely been a year since Uncharted 4 hit the shelves, so you can't be faulted for thinking that Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is just a cynical cash grab. Series stalwart Nathan Drake is gone and so are Elena and Sully, his merry supporting cast.

Great new setting; Polished gameplay; Better puzzles; Budget price tag

Great new setting; Polished gameplay; Better puzzles; Budget price tag; Open-world elements a bit shallow

If all that goes off without a hitch, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy can be recommended as a solid buy. It'll certainly please Uncharted fans who've been jonesing for a new game since Drake left us and from an industry perch, its success or failure will be interesting to watch.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Review

When Uncharted 4 ended, I never thought I'd get to see another adventure as grand as that one. It was the pinnacle of visuals on the PlayStation 4, and not only did it look gorgeous, it had all the he

Claudia Black is great as Chloe; The relationships are well written; Visually exquisite; Controls are sublime

A worthy encore – Uncharted: The Lost Legacy review

We said our heartfelt goodbyes to Nathan Drake and his family in Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, spelling what we thought was the end for Naughty Dog's amazing series, but as luck would have it, there are still stories to tell.

Excellent story that doesn't infringe on the closure of Uncharted 4; Nadine is a fantastic sidekick; Chloe becomes more relatable through slow-burn revelations; Improved stealth and gunplay; More open-world adventure than linear

Infrequent framerate wobble on stock PS4
