Bought this to complete my home network setup, which is now all UniFi. As always, installation was plug and play and the switch adopted no trouble into my existing infrastructure. Lots of stats if you're into that kind of thing. One issue that Ubiquiti quickly rectified was the firmware my unit shipped with prevented the switch initilializing more than 3 PoE devices. I reported the issue to Ubiquiti's forums and they've responded inside the hour with an updated firmware that fixed the issue. Really great customer service!

I had been looking unifi switches for some time but was put off by the US 24 reviews due to fan noise. This meant the USW 24 was the perfect choice, passive cooling, I also only needed around 8 Poe ports and it's cheaper so an easy choice. Unit adopted, and setup was easy as per normal for Unifi products. PB Tech delivery was quick, even with Covid-19 restrictions.

I had swapped this in for another switch and the silence is amazing. The management of this using the Ubniquiti key and software make it very easy to monitor and see what is happening on the network. Highly recommended.

Having deployed an end-to-end network utilising Aerohive Wired and Wireless equipment as part of my work, the ability to apply profiles from a centralised console is incredibly powerful. Ubiquity does the same, not as powerful but significantly lower cost. The passively cooled PEO+ switch is a great silent addition to this collection. I have deployed these across not-for-profit organisations that otherwise may not be able to deploy enterprise switching.
