This was easy to export older cloud key to. Easy installation of Protect. Currently running five different cameras with plans to expand. Recommend to someone who is new to IT and wants to set up reliable enterprise wifi setup without a dedicated server or computer controller.

I got this to replace the Unifi Video system I was using on a PC as it was no longer supported. Also, with its inbuilt controller, it took over full control of my network. Honestly I should have done this ages ago - its a simple unit that allows me remote access to my cameras and control in ways I haven't had before. Its solid, I've never had to reboot it other than for software updates. I'd highly recommend this to anyone wanting to protect their home, and I am looking to buy more UniFi gear shortly.

I got this mainly for use with UniFi Protect cameras. Setup was a breeze, and works well. Just make sure you update the firmware version on the device, and set your location in the settings area before you try doing location-based alerts. UniFi support team were nice and responsive to a few queries I had.

Had to upgrade to this due to Ubiquiti no longer supporting their free Unifi Video software. Great bit of kit easy to use and easy to set up Unifi Protect, like the geo-fencing feature too so my phone just doesn't constantly go off when sitting in the lounge. Only issue was powering this since I don't use a Ubiquiti POE Switch, you will need a 48v POE injector (NOT a 24V injector, which I found out after) or a QUALCOMM quick charge 24W+ USB A/USB C charger.

We run these devices across our business to control security cameras in each branch and provide cloud based access to the cameras to various personnel. This system is working well for us. I also use one of these devices to control the Unifi switches and APs across all our branches nationwide (as well as having 20 cameras attached to same device). Only word of warning I would give is that when you replace the hard-disk with a bigger size make sure to try confirm the drive is compatible as I found some of the ones we transferred into the UCKG2 from our old 2TB NVRs appeared to be compatible at first but ran into issues later under load.
