Nice enough, but we managed to kill two TPLink EAP225 Outdoor access point units when a staffmember unwittingly connected them for configuration. Most information online leads one to believe there is broad PoE compatibility, or at least that damage shouldn't occur (ideally, your device just wont power. Right?). We seem to have struck one of the corner-cases. Where the TP-Link product and the UB are theoretically standards compliant, but this product didn't negotiate; and the TP (although rated to 57VDC, 802.3af) wasn't ready for 48V and failed.
