Is This What MMA Is Like?

When you consider this is EA Sports first stab at a UFC licenced MMA game, the results are positive. A solid foundation has been laid for what is likely to become a yearly franchise.

I have only tried out the demo and so far its a solid game. 10X better then the last previous ones. Definitely caught me off guard with its fun factor and awesome graphics. Found myself playing the demo for good hours, so yea i definitely am copping this

As great as it looks, EA Sports UFC fails to capture the high stakes excitement that makes MMA such a great sport.

Every person who has seen EA Sports UFC in action has stopped and asked whether it was a game or the real thing. That's not a joke. It's like typoglycemia, where words will read corretly as long as you get a certain degree of factors right.

The basic combat is fine, even with the overcomplicated controls, and fans will appreciate the wealth of moves and the large roster of fighters; Excellent graphics

Ground-fighting isn't a patch on THQ's games; Very few game modes and the career option is thoroughly uninteresting; Some wooden animation and weak presentation

If you have played other ufc games before you will be really disapointed, the controls are terrible and the fights are not as fluid as before, in the menu you can't do anything without long loading times, you will wait at least 3 minutes of loading time between each fight it gets annoying.

My opponent's knee struck me in the jaw and before I knew it I was woozy on my feet with little awareness of my surroundings. I was already nursing a nasty cut above my right eye which was impairing my vision and causing me to constantly wipe away the crimson fluid from my field of sight.
