Turtle Beach Elite Pro Review

The Turtle Beach Elite Pro headset offers pro gamers marathon-friendly comfort and crisp sound, though you'll pay a lot to get the most out of this device.

Highly comfortable; Lots of adjustment options; Crisp; accurate sound; Works well across PS4; Xbox One and PC

Expensive; No built-in surround sound; Optional audio controller adds $200 to cost

Turtle Beach Elite Pro 2 + SuperAmp

If you want to spent a bit less on a wired gaming headset that also works as a pair of Bluetooth headphones, we quite like the HyperX Cloud Mix . It's slightly more affordable than the Elite Pro 2 and also sounds very good, but its bass isn't quite as strong and it doesn't have the same premium...

Excellent sound quality with powerful bass; Sturdy, luxurious build; Bluetooth audio with included SuperAmp

Less-than-stellar microphone; SuperAmp has few controls; Unreliable app

Turtle Beach Elite Pro Headset Review – Superb Sound For Serious Competition

Some names carry a lot of weight, a certain level of expectation in the quality of their brand. In this, Turtle Beach has a reputation for excellent headsets designed with comfort and stellar sound quality in mind.

16 Audio Settings; Comfortable Ear Covers; Chat Controls; Gorgeous Surround Sound

Long Excessive Wires; Tight Fitting and Heavy; Some Audio Cracking

Turtle Beach Elite Pro Review – When Gaming is Serious Business

Turtle Beach Elite Pro is definitely designed and built for gamers who'd wear the headset for many number of hours on a competitive level (including those who'd only wear this at home).

Turtle Beach Elite Atlas Review

Turtle Beach's Atlas line of gaming headsets is designed for PC gaming enthusiasts, and the Elite Atlas sits at the top of the heap. This $99.99 wired gaming headset looks and feels a lot like the company's pricey Elite Pro Tournament Headset (one of our favorites), but for half the price. As part of the Atlas line it features drivers that emphasize higher frequencies over bass, shunning typical gaming headset audio balance for a more tactically beneficial sound. The result is an excellent headset for gaming, though the heavily sculpted sound means it isn't as good for to music as its more expensive sibling. Luxurious and Comfortable The Elite Atlas looks and feels a lot like the Elite Pro Tournament Headset. The dark orange accents are gone in favor of gunmetal ones for a darker, more neutral color scheme, but the headset has the same classy memory foam earpads covered in faux leather, with a glasses-friendly strip of softer foam at the temples. It also has the same suspension de...

The wired Turtle Beach Elite Atlas headset delivers heavily sculpted audio ideal for gaming in a luxurious, comfortable design.

Strong high-mids and high frequency response for picking out nearby threats in games; Excellent microphone; Good build quality

Heavily sculpted sound isn't ideal for listening to music

Turtle Beach Elite Pro review: Tournament quality headset and audio controller

While sound cues are important to gamers, especially in multiplayer, there may be times when you need to focus on the vocal aspect of team chat while gaming as well. Our Turtle Beach Elite Pro review takes a look at a tournament-ready headset which allows gamers to quickly fine tune game and chat...

Comfortable, decent sound; The ProSpecs Glasses Relief System makes a surprisingly big difference for those who wear glasses

A bit pricier than other options; Personally found them a bit heavy, but not uncomfortable

Turtle Beach Elite Pro review: the headset of choice

The only downside I can think of for the Elite Pro is the price tag. Paying £170 for the headset itself is perfectly reasonable for how good it is, but it's a bit much to ask for another £150 for an audio controller to make the most of your purchase.

Excellent sound quality

I play a lot of call of duty bo4 and with these headphones set up on "windows sonic" in Xbox One settings and the tutle beach apps super human hearing mode turned on. I have an advantage over the opposition. E.G.

Amazing headset

Truly fantastic. No more charging. Mic mute works. Sound is blocked by headphones meaning complete immersion. I highly recommend them. Worth the price.
