"Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen" is a great game based on an awesome movie, but it doesn't hold up in comparison to other big titles.

-Outstanding visual quality; -Near-perfect voice acting; -All of the primary transformers from the movie are playable; -Fairly long; factoring in both sides of the story; -Simple; yet fun combat

-Online play is lacking; to say the least; -Extremely repetitious if played for long periods of time; -Both sides of the story are basically the same

Transformers bring back many great memories from my childhood days and for some reason I still find the stories from the franchise appealing. Bringing the Transformers to the big screen was no simple task and yet the crew at Industrial Light & Magic and Michael Bay pulled it off.

Two factions; two campaigns; enough Tranformers on offer to keep fans occupied; the multipayer gets a thumbs up

Transformers Revenge of the Fallen is the officially licensed video game from the Summer blockbuster movie of the same name. Since the movie received less than pleasant reviews (and after seeing it I can see why), I was eager to find out how the video game would fair.

All in all ROTF isn't a flop and despite it's lackluster Campaign and the hard-to-master controls it's the multiplayer where your skills come in. It's not that good but it sure ain't as bad as the first one. Definetely worth a rent especially if you want some easy G.

Movie based games have always had the reputation of being ‘stinkers'. Incomplete, rushed and full of glitches are words often used to describe even some of the most promising movie based titles.

The game isn't downright awful, but there is little to distinguish it from any other action game we've seen, save the Transformers brand attached to it. Yet another movie tie-in with endless possibilities, that does not take advantage of anything it's given.

Like the Michael Bay film of the same name, Revenge of the Fallen isn't very deep, but it's got enough flashy visuals and screen-shaking explosions to satisfy both fans of the series and common bystanders.

A perfect example of a rushed game. There was potential here somewhere, but buried beneath so much useless dead weight.
