Prime Time

If your memories of a Saturday morning were running downstairs and flicking the telly on to bathe your sleepy eyes in the pulsating glow, flashy lights, and booming explosions of the original Transformers, boy could Devastation be the game for you.

True to the TV show; Great spectacle in boss fights; Slick; enjoyable combat

Short campaign; Over priced

Transformers Devastation Review

Transformers Devastation's nostalgia-fueled fisticuffs are a fun way to revisit the classic TV show. Sophisticated combo-based combat delivers a fast and furious barrage of action, but the gear and perks systems left me wondering why they were there at all in a game all about over-the-top boss...

Fun combat; Great graphics; Good fan service

Crappy loot; Bland levels

Good game

I bought this for my seven year old nephew for Christmas. Graphics are good and he seems to be able to play it easily.

Platinum Games Rolls Out More Stylish Action

Concept: A stylish action game in the vein of Bayonetta and Devil May Cry set in the Transformers: Generations universe Graphics: The fantastic art design is a nod to the classic ‘80s show, but it sometimes lacks the crispness of high definition Sound: Close your eyes and you might think you're...

Game Review: Transformers Devastation

When Transformers: Devastation was officially revealed during E3 this year , it practically came out of nowhere, with little expectation. Perhaps after the poor showing of the previous Transformers title; Rise of the Dark Spark , Activision wanted to play it safe with their next outing.

One of the best uses of cell-shaded visuals I've seen; Fast; frantic and fun; with a hint of precision; Returning voice-cast members

Would love to have had more playable characters; Level design can feel a tad repetitive

Transformers: Devastation

Many Transformers games have come and gone over the years, all faithful to the franchise, but none made any sort of lasting impression, beyond the fact that they were instantly forgettable. However, Transformers: Devastation manages to bust through that spiral of pointlessness.

Transformers: Devastation doesn't waste any time in putting you right in the middle of autobot action. In less than 20 minutes, you're already going head to head with some of the largest Transformers that the game has to offer and taking part in epic boss battles that actually work extremely well in...

Transformers Devastation Review

A typical Platinum game, that does justice to the Transformers licence.

None shall fall

Impressive effort with a few noticeable problems holding it back. Won't astound everyone, but is worth most people's time and cash.
