Bought this as I was a huge fan of the cartoon as a child. I was hoping this was at least ok but unfortunately it just seems like a cheap cash in. Very little story line and really basic gameplay. The gameplay wouldn't matter if there was a decent story to it maybe even following the cartoon.

This is an awesome game for fans of the original G1 Transformers cartoon. There are many characters from the original series in the game. It would have been nice to see more, but it's still great in my opinion. There are 5 playable Autobots.

If "Autobots, transform and roll out", doesn't mean anything to you, maybe give this game a pass. But if you are an old school Transformers fan, this game will make you smile. When Transformers: Devastation was officially revealed during E3 this year , it practically came out of nowhere, with little expectation. Perhaps after the poor showing of the previous Transformers title; Rise of the Dark Spark , Activision wanted to play it safe with their next outing.

Would love to have had more playable characters; Level design can feel a tad repetitive

I bought this for my seven year old nephew for Christmas. Graphics are good and he seems to be able to play it easily.

I'm a massive Transformers nerd and I still treat myself to an occasional, well-designed figure. In particular, I have a set of many of the Optimus Prime figures that have been created over the years.
