I've only used it with USB 2.0 slots, so the top data transfer speed has yet to be tested and reached.

I purchased this Flash Drive as I was looking for a device that could hold more data and figured I should step up to the increased transfer rates offered by USB 3.0. The construction of the device seems solid and I like that it has a retractable connection, as there is no cap to loose.

The one specification they do not provide is the transfer rate. This one is in the mud. spend a little more and get a name brand.

if you've got a system installed with USB 3.0, then go for it. else don't even think of this ITS VERY SLOW WITH USB 2.0 average file transfer rate is around 5-7 mbps on USB 2.0, though speed also depends on the file type.
