The Transcend SSD370 128GB drive is affordable with respectable performance and supports things like TRIM & DevSleep. To help sweeten the deal it also comes with cloning software and even has a 3.5″ desktop drive bay adapter.

It seems like no matter what you are purchasing there are always many various levels of quality, prices, and performance. I know I personally get stuck desiring the top of the line everything and my spouse gets a little upset about this since we end up spending extra money at times.

From the performance perspective, the SSD370 is a very competitive value drive. It doesn't top the charts, but it provides a very good balance of consistency and peak performance.

It works as it was described! Easy to install, just need to find the right screw to hold the card in place. Gave new life to my older laptop.

What was once ultra-expensive and rare quickly becomes cheap and common in the personal computer market. Storage is possibly the best example of this. Indeed, the storage market has changed quite a bit in the 17 years I have been a computer enthusiast.

Transcend's SSD370S 512GB SATA III SSD is a decent performing drive with a nice bundle. Overall the drive delivers a good SSD experience, but it's currently overpriced for the performance it offers.
