I used the card as a replacement for the 4 GB HD in my iPod Mini ...since it has the same ATA interface as a HD. It worked fine.

I have been using this for about a month and haven't experienced any problems at all in my 40D or Sandisk firewire card reader. If you are shooting lots of bursts with your camera, then go for the faster Extreme III or IV.

With flash memory coming down in price all the time, it pays to at least think about getting more than you need right at this moment. As the capacity goes up, so do the picture and video resolutions in the devices that use this memory, and the need for even more space increases too.

Unlike the prior reviewer I have not had any issues whatsoever with this or any other Transcend Compact Flash Card that I have purchased over the years. The card is lightning fast and reliable.

This CF is a perfect replacement for the hard drive in an older iPod Mini. I increased the storage capacity by 4x as well as battery life between charges.

I've tried a number of cf cards form my digital camera, but find that Transcend is the best for the price. It gives me all I need to store my pictutes.

I thought that I preferred the 8 Gig size before I got this 16G. Now I have changed my mind. 600+ RAW files in a morning is hard to do, so I just don't have to think about swapping the cards while I'm out in the boonies.

Perfect size and speed for the way I photograph; It works great in my D700, and downloads quickly enough to my laptops; I shoot RAW files on the road mostly, shoot early, download and eat, then shoot later and download again; So far, I have not had to put in a second card while shooting this card
