Toy Story 3 Review

Pixar's films touch on themes so universal and immediate that it is possible for both adults and children to be sucked into their imaginative worlds. Unfortunately, most of the games based on these popular properties have been unable to replicate this appeal, veering too far to the simple side of...

Lots of different gameplay tasks; most of them enjoyable; Toy Box mode has tons of diverse missions to play through; Two-player cooperative mode makes things even more fun; Plenty of unlockable rewards to strive for

Some control issues; Lacks depth for more experienced players

Toy Story 3

Toy Story 3 may not be able to reach the lofty heights of Pixar's movies, but it is a fun game for youngsters who want to play around in this colorful world. The variety of activities ensures there is something new to see in every level, and though none of the missions are deep, they do offer plenty...

Toy Story 3

I know what most of you are thinking. Oh God, another game based off a kids movie. I know that's EXACTLY what I though when I discovered this game was in the making. "There gonna put my all-time favorite film series when I was young to epic shame.

Toy Story 3

Let's be honest, game adaptations of family movies do not have a good track record. There have been a lot of bad ones, and very few good ones. You can hardly blame the publishers, however.

Toy Story 3

Having won the hearts of just about everyone some 15 years ago, the original Toy Story film needs no introduction. Since then, it's taken literally half of my lifetime for Toy Story 3 to finally arrive in cinemas after the acclaimed sequel, which has been a long and laborious wait.

Toy Story 3

A solid family title and one that should provide hours of fun. There's plenty of variety here, but a bit too much in the way of collectable goodies if you want to see it all, and as you'd expect, finding them all soon gets repetitive.

Toy Story 3

Hugely enjoyable for the most part, Toy Story 3 can certainly be considered amongst the best of film to videogame tie-ins. Demonstrating enough charm and exceptional visuals for fans of the series, with the puzzle and platforming sections of the game doing their very best in giving gamers reason to...

Toy Story 3

Like all movie tie-ins, the Toy Story 3 game has been designed with the singular intention of making players feel better about the $12.50 they spent to see the film. The game is a series of foregone conclusions-can Woody stop a runaway train?

Toy Story 3

With another Toy Story movie out at the cinemas and this one boasting glorious 3D, it was inevitable that a video game would follow. Then you have the dreaded movie game curse and more often than not, a video game based on a movie is pretty horrendous at that.
