Cannot install; keep getting a run around with a steam account which eventually wants me to purchase other games. What a rip-off. SEGA can go to Hades, unfortunately with my wasted money.

Empire: Total War is a great strategy game, especially if you have played previous Total War games and enjoyed them. Empire: Total War takes place from the year 1700 to 1799 (C.E of course). Empire is a turn-by-turn strategy game in which you manage a nation that existed at the time.
Full disclosure: I've had his game for like 9 months and only have played maybe 20 minutes of it because there was a bug with some DLC packs not registering. Out of spite for Rome 2, I booted it up and played the Battle Tutorial and the Naval tutorial.
This game is running on a new engine of Total War's and there always has to be a first. Unit skins and historical blunders are frustrating (I'm a re-enactor). *They need another Shogun Total War!*
This game has a good concept and is no doubt, has the best intentions of the Total War franchise; (I own all games and expansions); For the most part, this game has countless hours of playability
*note* I'm a fanboy, but I'll admit that this game is broken, but many of the complaints are from ignorant people and people who have less than adequate computers (you need a brute to make the game sparkle); There are bugs and the game crashes, mainly due to its association with Steam.
This is a great game!Good graphics and awesome playability! I would go out and buy this game any old day!
Empire: Total War was a natural progression for the hugely successful 'Total: War' series. The series has involved taking over factions during historial conflicts and micromanaging their Empires, from the fighting to trade, internal developments and character progression and skills.
Epic and immersive

A great game to play
"Creative Assembly offers the best yet in its superlative strategy series." IGN This game is SO much fun! It just never gets old! The battles, campaign, and units are so AMAZINGLY detailed and and the visual and sound of the game is absolutely STUNNING.
