Why, when Activision has seemingly taken so much care and attention with its elegant revival of Guitar Hero? Why, when Activision has supported Bungie's triumphant overhaul of Destiny?

Better luck next time, Tony.
looks, runs, and plays like a pre-alpha build of a game that might have been ready to release sometime in the spring or summer of 2016. Its framerate is choppier than most extreme sports titles on the PlayStation 2.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 feels like someone wished for a new Pro Skater game using a monkey's paw. Unfortunately, like all such wishes, this one was twisted into something undesirable.
The game clearly isn't finished and, even it it was, the lack of ambition – and budget – is painfully obvious at every turn. A sad, pathetic end to a classic games franchise.
Some of the stage designs aren't too boring and if you're lucky enough for the game to work that long; you can still chain moves together in the old style
Even if the game worked properly, it's still a pale imitation of the original, with bland level and mission design; The bugs and glitches are some of the worst we've ever seen; It costs £50
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 momentarily recalls the greatness of earlier games in the series. Skating around and looking for opportunities to test your creativity and reflexes is sometimes as enjoyable today as it was 10, 15 years ago. However, these moments of excitement are fleeting.
Skating is occasionally fun
Slam mechanic disturbs the series' tried-and-true gameplay; Online connectivity hampers the single player experience; Graphical and technical glitches are a constant annoyance; Uninspired maps and simple challenges fail to hold your interest; Poor and insufficient UI
It has at times felt like Pro Skater 5 was doomed from the start, with the usual gallery of internet naysayers collectively shaking their heads and tutting loudly whenever new footage or snippets of information were released to the public.
Skate-crasher
Addictive Mission Structure; Can occasionally be fun; Creation tools are ok
Runs horrendously; Controls feel loose; unresponsive and archaic; Requires always online
I've completed every game Tony hawks has brought out on the PlayStation this one is awesome even my 2 sons love it
Everything
Nothing

Almost everything about this game is terrible
