This is one of the best 3rd-person action/adventure game I've played. Lots of interesting story elements, in-game narration, and awesome graphics.
The action; adventure; narration; story
No RPG, easy puzzle; No variant replay

Like the title says ... a great reboot of the Lara Croft series. Multiplayer wasn't really needed as the solo part of the game is great.
Great reboot and challenges you to think fast. It does keep to the true Tomb Raider adventure, searching for clues and hidden treasures which I must say forgot about till I found certain clues. Animation and quality in the game of characters, animals etc are great.
Whenever you hear about and then end up getting the chance to try a franchise that's had ups and downs and seen better days be reborn, it feels like you have seen the cycle come full circle.
Tomb Raider of yesteryear is gone and the shift to a narrative with real grit shines through; Lara Croft isn't the character we once knew; She's this girl who has to fend for her life on this island she's stuck on with danger all around her.
The multiplayer really should have been left out; The game works well enough as a sole single player experience
Visually spectacular, affecting and brutal, Tomb Raider pulls no punches in rejuvenating the character. Strictly from a gameplay perspective, this is the culmination of much of what this generation had to offer; the cover system and stealth, the climbing and even the gunplay have been yanked from...
This was the first Tomb Raider game I even played and I'm afraid that it has ruined all previous ones for me. Unless the previous games also included all the equipment and skills that this one did i doubt that I'll ever touch them. The story is amazing and is supposed to be based off an actual myth.
Tomb Raider has, by the very premise of its name, always roused the excited kid in us. And we don't mean because of the game's female protagonist, Lara Croft. Well, not entirely. No, there's something very Indiana Jones about adventure, treasure hunting and, er, booby traps.
Immersive story; looks gorgeous; additional tombs/tasks outside of linear story line; generally well acted; bold when it comes to the 'gritty' content; best action-adventure game of recent times
Can feel repetitive in some places; occasionally over-worked acting can be a little grating; frame rate dip during cinematic cut scenes and some button-clicking sections lack response in PS3 version we tested
Before Legends, Tomb Raider was basically stone dead. It managed to breath a little life into a franchise which sorely needed it. Anniversary is basically a reboot/remake of the original. Still good, just imo not as good as legends. And Underworld is the direct sequal to legends. Best out of the 3.
Fantastic Game, amazing graphics and very good story line. as a tomb raider fan this is no doubt one of the best made for video graphics. Earning the achievements makes it more fun, as you are forced to do quest and special moves to get them in the Lara Croft Manor, making it intresting and fun, and...
Excellent games, really enjoyed playing it. A fine Addition to the Tomb Raider Family. I thought the controls was easy and game Flowed well.
