DO NOT BUY THIS OPTION OF THE VIDEO GAME. IT SAYS ENGLISH BUT WHEN YOU PLAY IT IT IS ONLY IN FRENCH AND GERMAN. PEOPLE WERE HAVING THIS ISSUE BEFORE AND THEY STILL!!! HAVEN'T RESOVLED IT.

Similar to the past games featuring Lara Croft. I haven't gotten through a whole lot yet, but it does have that original exploration element, plus much improved graphics and sound. This one probably is going to take a while before I get through a major portion of the game.

Great narrative pacing; a new character is born and we like her; great music; some gorgeous locations and well-animated characters on display; fun combat and action

Too much emphasis on action and too little on puzzles and exploration; QuickTime Events are overused as well; multiplayer seems a bit obsolete

Overall, Tomb Raider: Anniversary features an age old style of gameplay that is beginning to struggle against the test of time. Whilst the game does a fantastic job at recreating the original Tomb Raider, it often feels like Crystal Dynamics could have done much more with the licence.

Recreates the original Tomb Raider well; New features are welcome and wanted; Lara looks set to soon be a Dead or Alive girl

Graphics resemble a lazy port; Artificial intelligence is laughable; Relatively short and little replay value

It's a great game, certainly worth a weekend rental to experience. The amount of polish is great. The game was fun while it lasted. I felt for Lara as she went through hell and back to survive.
