Tomb Raider Anniversary

This game kills 2 birds with one stone. Basically it's cool being retro these days, the team at Edios redressed the whole game improving Lara, the physics, the levels, the graphics, and detailing the story. Plus this games grants Edios the chance to start from scratch with Lara and the series.

Tomb Raider PS3 Review

I've never been a fan of the Tomb Raider series. During the jump from 2D to 3D back in the 90, games went through a weird phase, causing a number of issues for player and camera movement.

back to form!!!

Its great to see lara back on form after many failed attemps in the past few outings. Although nothing new its back to how a tomb raider game should play. Buy it!!

Good take on the tomb raider franchise

Very interesting take on the franchise which was getting a bit old. While parts of the game nearly border on horror the overall story is pretty good and some of the parts are challenging. Overall a good attempt at breathing new life into the franchise here's hoping there's a sequel.

Challenging; Easy To Learn; Engaging Story Line; Gameplay; Graphics; Great Sound

The best game I've ever played

I would like to suggest this game to all the Tomb raider game lovers. This is by far the best ever game I've played. I like the survival strategies of this game. My fav weapon is bow and arrow since this is most useful in stealth mode.

Tomb Raider

There's a moment about midway through the new Tomb Raider where heroine Lara Croft lands in the clutches of a gaggle of male heavies - gross, grimy, near-feral Scavengers who want nothing more than to exact revenge for her killing their brethren.

+ Incredibly polished production values and super-responsive controls make playing a treat; + Great; well-paced progression and character development make Lara believable

When adventurer extraordinaire Lara Croft raided her first tomb back in 1996, she brought with her an exhilarating feeling of isolation and discovery. Over the years, Lara has continued to venture into parts unknown, taking dark turns and frequently tangling with the supernatural as the series...

Story believably builds Lara up from unsure academic to confident adventurer; Fascinating setting with a rich sense of history; Intense combat that offers a good deal of flexibility; Controls make physically overcoming the island's terrain a pleasure; Good assortment of tombs to raid; relics to...

Forgettable multiplayer component; Outside of Lara's character arc; story is predictable

Tomb Raider

A whole new Lara Croft, a beautiful new world to explore and so much more excitement to be had.

Progressive difficulty makes it easy to keep up; beautiful environments; awesome musical accompaniment; nonstop action sequences; excellent checkpoint system; manageable puzzles; an actual in game reason to collect the collectibles; great story that just doesn't stop; awesomely gory death scenes...

Glitches that caused unnecessary deaths; somewhat inconsistent AI; skills that are almost useless unless taken early in the game; some fights more frustrating than they should be; Tomb Raider themed dreams every night I've played it

Tomb Raider Review | Take A Bow

"Are you watching porn?" my flatmate asks me, no doubt hearing the yelps, squeals, and screams coming from the television. I can't really blame him. The last half an hour has been a cavalcade of torment for young Lara Croft, who's bruised, bloodied, battered from numerous scrapes, scraps, and...

Superb production values - the level of detail in visual and sound design is exceptional; Excellent; rollicking action-adventure story; Combat is the some of the best we've seen from the genre; let alone the series; Yamatai is fantastically realised; exploration encouraged to a huge degree; Tombs

Less action; more adventuring please next time; Multiplayer feels tacked on and superfluous in spite of its solidity
