I never did spend a lot of time with Lara in my youth. Not one to be enamored by polygon-rich witches hats, the extent of our time together consisted mainly of breakneck high-dives into a shallow pool; such was my naivety and disinterest in anything that, at that time, wasn't Banjo Kazooie.

Really good game, well thought out plot, amazing graphics (which is to be expected from next gen!), really enjoyed playing this game. As a rerelease after it was launched on xbox360, i have played both editions and although the plot line is the same, the graphics are far superior on xbox one.

TR: Definitive Edition's good looks are a bonus. It's still Lara, great pacing, and clever design that make it amazing.

Having been brought up within the Tomb Raider era having played the 1st TR on the playstation, I was a little skeptical about 1st of all a rehash of how lara became Tomb Raider' I bought it on Xbox 360 because as I said, I grew up with Lara.

One of the best adventure games on console, with a fantastic blend of action and exploration. The Definitive Edition really is definitive, but isn't worth a repeat buy for those who've already experienced Lara's story.
