The TomTom Runner GPS Watch is the company's latest offering within the running category after a few years of partnering with Nike. So it was a bit expected that they would be releasing a dedicated unit for runners.

If I reviewed the TomTom Runner GPS watch based only on how fast it made me run, it would score top marks. With this sports watch strapped to my wrist one afternoon, I ran like no tomorrow, clocking a speed I had not seen in years.

Although it does not have as many features as some other smart watches for serious runners this is a good piece of kit. The mapping accuracy and GPS fix are excellent. Updates are regularly provided to add new functions

It really changed my life. It has enabled me to appreciate and improve my running and training. I was a new runner barely reaching 5K, thanks to this little friend I have managed to run 10K and counting. HR works well, just keep an eye to update the GPS and off you go.

Does exactly what it says it does. It is comfortable, looks good, and just works. Wiggle servixe excellent as always.

We like the TomTom Multi-Sport Cardio, although it is far from perfect. It is built to last, and comfortable to wear, without being stylish. Critically, the built-in GPS and heartrate monitors are great, and battery life is good. But connectivity options aren't all that good, and it isn't cheap. But if you are sports mad, it is a good choice.
