Tom Clancy's The Division 2 (Xbox One) Review

The Division 2 may be making a mess on Tom Clancy's grave by betraying his highly conservative values, but what is here is a very competent and polished third-person open-world action game with a big emphasis on co-op.

Not very much blood. Some frequent language that is used in game. If worried about cussing or bad language in game, I highly recommend turning off volume, as there are still indicators on screen that allows you to know what is happening in the game.

"Awesome 3rd person shooter"

Great game but more of the same if you played the first game. If you loved the original or are new to the series but love realistic (sorta) or 3rd person shooters you'll love this.

Tom Clancy's The Division 2 review

If you can handle the extreme repetitiveness, The Division 2 provides a well-rounded, dense and - mercifully - functional loot-shooting experience, sprinkled with a few neat ideas you won’t find elsewhere. Those who are looking to dedicate a good chunk of 2019 to this will find plenty to do and even more to shoot, while more casual players can still blast through the enjoyable story, experiment in the Dark Zone, and get their fill of loot before moving on. It won’t win any awards for its storytelling, but unlike Anthem, The Division 2 fees like a game that actually understands how its players interact with it. Cut scenes are kept to a minimum, the plot is rarely more complicated than ‘kill the bad guys’, and the game does its best to get out of the way of you and your buddies having fun. A very strong sequel.

Engaging gameplay loop; Packed with detail ; Unique multiplayer ideas;

Extremely repetitive; Story is instantly forgettable; Some visual pop-in;

Not as divisive

Not as divisive Although there really isn't a moment where The Division 2 drags per se, as I started to work my way up through the ranks and come to grips with its various intricacies, it made it easier to keep playing.

Tom Clancy's The Division 2 Review - Time to Take Back and Fix A Devastated Washington D.C.

Tom Clancy's The Division 2 takes place seven months after the events of the original that saw New York devastated by the dollar flu. Ubisoft decided to go a bit south for the sequel though with The Division 2 taking place in the capital of the United States, Washington D.C.

A lot better than Division 1!

Excellent follow up to Division 1, better story and progression and the Dark Zone Edition was much cheaper at Smyth's than anywhere else!

Upgrade from division 1

Got the division 2 for Xbox and PS4. I find it quite enjoyable. Still enough people playing for the matchmaking to be advantageous. Level 1-30 is a bit of a chore but worth it. The real stuff happens after level 30. So keep going.

Tom Clancy's The Division 2 review

Capital punishment

Shooting is greatly improved; Fantastic loot game; So much content; Believable atmosphere; Minimal downtime

Inconsistent enemy AI; Some intrusive bugs at launch; Story is a sidenote
