H.A.W.K. 2 is, for the most part, a good aerial combat game. Played from a first- and third-person perspective, H.A.W.X. 2 delivers much of the same heated aerial combat action as its predecessor , but with improved graphics, better multiplayer options, and additional aircraft to climb into.

HAWX 2 is such a letdown after the brilliant original and, if anything, feels like it has gone back a few steps rather than making any kind of progression. There is still plenty of fun to be had, especially in co-op or on the survival maps, but the first game has the edge in almost every regard.

First of all, this game is actually an improvement over the original in most aspects. Every one is saying that there is no customization and no way to use any plane on any mission. Well thats due to the fact that you have to level up to unlock things.

Good graphics. Good gameplay. Really fun, I just keep playing it over and over again and I never get sick of it. Overall, absolutely great game.

In order to dodge incoming attacks, you have to perform aerial stunts that might look brilliant, however are very unrealistic. Some of the manoeuvres you can pull off would actually have you crashing in real life. If it were a game like Just Cause 2, then I'd understand!

In air combat terms, the word furball is used to describe a densely populated dogfight. You'll find yourself in plenty of furballs in Tom Clancy's HAWX 2, and, for the most part, they're tense, exciting and rewarding. But these furballs don't always go down well.

What is it about flight combat that is so hard to pin down? There are usually two schools of thought on the subject. One camp leans towards the ultra realistic, favouring the hardcore simulation with terms like pitch, roll and yaw coming into play.

Hawx 2 is quite similar to the original hawx, but ubisoft have made it more realistic without ruining the fun part of it. The gameplay is similar, but now has more elements to it (air to air refuelling, take off and landing, ac130 gunships) definatley worth it

A satisfying choice of airplanes to pilot; plenty of different missions; multiplayer is fun

Elements that were supposed to improve the game end up ruining it; friendly AI still not too bright (same as in the original); also the closer you fly to the ground the uglier the game gets

Yellow diamonds aren't stressful until you realize they're all enemies surrounding the gunship you have to protect. Our screen is full of yellow diamonds. And we're freaking out. We didn't feel that way during 2009's HAWX, which, while fun in its own right, lacked a real sense of urgency.
