Both myself and a colleague bought Ghost Recon about three weeks ago and we have played it almost daily since. It's a perfect combination of Grand Theft Auto and Call Of Duty, resulting in a beautifully finished and wonderfully playable stealth shoot ‘em up.

This game is awesome in solo, but the main brunt of the fun is with friends. I love how it's the tactical side of Tom Clancy in an open world. You'll easily find something to do, especially with friends.

Tom Clancy's fictional special forces operation is no stranger to adaptability. Over the course of the franchise's 15-year history, the interventionist Ghosts have stymied Russian ultranationalists, destabilized the North Korean army, and squelched a Mexican insurgency.

This game is incredibly fun with friends as there is an almost unlimited number of missions to do in a completely open world map. The graphics of the game are crazy good and the gameplay is fairly realistic.

Open world. So much to do.

Ghost Recon Wildlands is all over the place in terms of its quality. Some missions are frustrating, the game is not without its technical and design flaws, and its sandbox action can sometimes be repetitive, ludicrous and over-the-top.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands offers a fantastic openworld for you and a group of friends to explore, but solo players won't have as good of a time.

Whilst playing Ubisoft Paris' Ghost Recon Wildlands , I found it impossible not to consider its context. I'm not referring to the recent controversy between the Bolivian and French governments regarding its setting, but rather the spate of open-world games we've seen released over the last few years...

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands offers an open world experience on a massive scale in a location that hasn't be visited before. Ubisoft have taken the risk of taking the tactical shooter to an open-world scale comparable to Far Cry , Watch Dogs and Assassins Creed .

An amazing open-world space; Gun gameplay is decent; 4 player co-op offers some fun experiences; A nice amount of vehicles

Story is awful; The terrain even though large is dull and lacking any character; The bugs are really a massive issue; Playing solo is not worth it; Far too repetitive; Too many collectibles
