The Tokina AT-X 12-28mmF/4lens has a super-wide to standard zoom range while maintaining a constant fast f/4.0 aperture. This makes ita very versatile lens for different photo applications such as scenery, street scenes photography and event coverage.

I love this lens... This is my 'go to' lens... I hardly removed this lens (and fitted 35mm prime) during my visit to Kashmir-Leh-Ladakh... When extreme wide, the people on corners look disproportionate... but this gets corrected easily during post processing...

On a Canon EF-S DSLR it operates with an effective focal length of 19-45mm, and on a DX format Nikon it's slightly wider at 18-42mm as a result of the different crop factors. It offers a constant maximum aperture of f/4 and 9 aperture blades help create smooth bokeh in out-of-focus areas.

I bought this lens recently and took it on a trip to Banff used it to take over 1000 landscape shots over the course of a week and found it to be the perfect lens for hiking/outdoors.

A great little wide-angle lens. Not too heavy and very compact. Some vignetting when zoomed right out but to be expected really. {icture quality is excellent

For shooting real estate, low distortion is a plus, also having a correctable distortion is even better. This lens pretty much has both. After using the Tamron 10-24 and the Nikon 10-24, this is the best of the bunch overall.
