Using this with a D7000, the lens focuses correctly using phase and contrast focus. This sharpness of this lens is impressive! Distortion is reasonable, from almost no distortion at 20mm to noticeable barrel distortion at 11mm.

More than happy with this lens. I've gotten use to the push-pull auto/manual focus ring, and although I prefer a switch or the ability to simply manual focus in AF mode, this is not a deal breaker. I would absolutely buy this lens again.

So far very sharp pictures. Has some distortion at the widest end which is to be expected. I really like that it is a 2.8. Good color contrast. Good price.

This is for Canon bodies. Wasn't too clear when I purchased it. Seems to be French stock judging by the booklet it came with. Not too important as instructions not really required for a lens. I've had limited time with it but seems a cracking lens.

Third-party lenses have long been a cost-conscious alternative to name brands, but not every one is a strong optical performer. Dated Aesthetics The 11-20mm doesn't look like a new lens. Its design is straight out of the 90s, rife with odd font choices for labels and chunky rubberized knurling on the focus and zoom rings.
